Cleaning

Shaia Oriental Rugs has been in the business of taking care of your oriental rugs since 1973. We understand the construction, textiles, and dyes used in rugs and how to make sure they are maintained properly.  

  • Cleaning Process includes:

  • Pre-inspection 

  • Beat and vacuum both sides to remove loose debris

  • Apply pre-spray solution to loosen ground in dirt and grime

  • Rinse and wet rug

  • Apply cleaning soap solution by hand with soft bristle brushes

  • Power rinse 

  • Extract out dirt and soap solution

  • Hang vertically to dry

  • Post-inspection

From the smallest to repair to large restoration projects on priceless Antique Rugs, Shaia rugs has the resources and expertise to handle it. Feel free to contact us with any questions about a rug in need of repair, or bring the rug by our store and we give you a repair estimate

Padding:

Proper rug padding is important to maintain the life of your rug and provide safety and comfort.  Our premium rug padding also protects the floors underneath your rug as well!  Each pad is custom cut to fix the exact size of your rug.
